Michael J. Lahoud is the original founder and visionary behind one of the first healthcare consulting companies to integrate medical marketing, billing, practice management, and business development services specifically for independent healthcare providers and medical start-ups. Over the course of his career, Michael has played a pivotal role in the development and launch of hundreds of healthcare businesses nationwide, helping physicians and healthcare entrepreneurs build successful and financially stable practices.

Michael began his professional career after an opportunity to play professional baseball with the Kansas City Royals was unexpectedly cut short due to a career-ending injury. Determined to redirect his entrepreneurial drive, he founded MJL Management Company, which owned and operated high-end health spas throughout New Jersey, Connecticut, and Nevada. Under Michael’s leadership, the company experienced substantial growth over seven years before being successfully sold at a significant profit.  In 1986, Michael transitioned his management expertise into the healthcare industry, focusing on physician practice management, ambulatory surgery center development, and healthcare real estate management. He built and expanded a large, diversified organization that included Michael Lahoud Practice Consulting, surgery center development and management services, and healthcare operational consulting. By 1994, the organization refined its focus exclusively toward medical business consulting, specializing in independent physician practices, healthcare start-ups, and ambulatory surgery centers. Since entering the practice management industry more than 30 years ago, Michael has helped healthcare organizations across the country improve operational efficiency, strengthen profitability, expand strategically, and allow physicians to focus more directly on patient care. Michael’s expertise includes healthcare business development, operational management, physician practice consulting, contract negotiations, vendor relations, staffing strategy, and financial oversight. He has extensive experience assisting with physician agreements, employment contracts, termination negotiations, vendor management, practice expansion initiatives, and strategic business planning for independent healthcare providers.  Known for his entrepreneurial vision, leadership, and deep understanding of healthcare operations, Michael has remained committed to supporting independent medical practices through innovative management solutions, operational guidance, and long-term business growth strategies.
